Canyoning day in the Riolan canyon

Are you planning a holiday in the Alpes-Maritimes and are you looking for the ideal activity to discover the wonders of the region while having fun? How about a canyoning day in the heart of a breathtaking canyon?

We take you to discover the Riolan canyon, 2 km long! Of medium difficulty, this canyon is located a few minutes from the Verdon and is one of the most beautiful canyons in the Alpes-Maritimes. It is 50 km from Castellane and Nice and will offer you a breathtaking setting, between turquoise water and impressive walls of the Verdon.

For this activity, we invite you to meet directly at the Riolan canyon, in Aiglun, in the car park. Here, you will be welcomed by your instructor and will establish a first contact with the other participants. After a short briefing and handing over the equipment, you will hit the road for a 15-minute approach walk. You will quickly arrive at the edge of the canyon where the adventure will begin!

To start, you will benefit from an optional initiation to abseiling and jump from 3 or 7 m depending on your courage! You will then swim in the basins of turquoise water and chain the slides and jumps! You will stop at a mountain spring and then set off for two hours of intense activity!

Slides, rappels, jumps will follow one another for your greatest pleasure in the middle of a cliff over 100m high! You will take a short meal break in a breathtaking setting and set off on an adventure for two hours where you will have fun, fill up on escape and sensations!

Once the activity comes to an end, you will only walk one minute before arriving at the Roman Bridge where the departure took place.

• We welcome you from June to September.
• Please come with a sandwich and bring your sports shoes and swimsuit.
• To perform this descent, it is necessary to be in good health, to be able to jump a height of 2 m and to know how to swim.
