Descent of the Furon Canyon Integral 5h Sassenage

We are located in Sassenage, in the Isère department, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

Once you arrive at the meeting point, you will meet your instructor. He is a true canyoning enthusiast, only wanting to share his passion and love for his region with you. He will explain to you, during a briefing, the course of the day you will spend with him. Furthermore, before the big departure, head for the adventure, he will explain the safety rules to you and provide you with your equipment, a neoprene suit strong>, a helmet and a harness.

You will head towards the Furon canyon which you will explore in its entirety. This canyon is quite sporty and requires a minimum of physical condition. You will be immersed in the heart of nature, in the middle of mountains and forests, a completely exotic setting just a few minutes from Grenoble . You will have to make jumps, natural slides in the rocks hollowed out by water erosion. You will also have the chance to abseil down magnificent waterfalls, which are sure to make you feel thrills.

Good to know:

• Our meeting place is the Sassenage tank car park.
• Remember to bring something to hydrate yourself and something to eat like energy bars.
• Please arrive at the meeting point at least 20 minutes before the activity starts.
• Jumps are not obligatory.
• Abseiling does not exceed a height of 15 meters.
• Children from 12 years old (in good health) can participate in this descent.
• The duration of the approach walk is estimated at 40 minutes. The return journey lasts 10 minutes.
