Canyoning in the Gorges du Pas de Roland is very special, because this canyon has an incredible history. Legend tells that Roland, the nephew of Charlemagne, would have created the canyon with a sword to create a passage for his army. The first documented mention of the Gorges du Pas de Roland dates back to the 17th century. Since then, the gorges have become a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers, who come to explore its terrain and its stunning landscapes.

Back to our activity, canyoning is an adventure sport which consists of descending canyons using various techniques, including walking, strong>swimming, jumps, sliding and abseiling. Canyoning is an experience as enriching and exciting for children, because it allows them to cultivate themselves and go on an adventure to discover treasures hidden from this canyon.

First, we will form groups with the instructor, our objective is to know the level of your child to offer him the most suitable route for him to take maximum pleasure. In a second step, we will give the safety instructions and we will transport you to the site for the start of our short hike.

Once you arrive at the canyon, you will have various activities to do to make this excursion fun and exciting.
Throughout the day, your children will be supervised by experienced and state-certified instructors, who will perfectly know how to ensure your child's safety and pass on to them the knowledge and techniques necessary for the smooth running of the day.
