3h30 Canyoning in the Thuès-les-Bains Canyon

Want a canyoning activity in the Pyrénées-Orientales? We take you to discover the Thuès-les-Bains Canyon for half a day!

This canyon is located between Font-Romeuand Prades, a few kilometers from the ski resorts of Anglesand Font-Romeu. What sets it apart from other canyons? Its thermal hot water springs! You read correctly, the water temperature can reach 40 degrees, a happiness to relax after a good morning of ski. In addition to the happiness of its temperature, thermal water brings many benefits to your skin.

For this activity, the meeting point is in the Village of Olette. The exact location will be communicated to you a few days before the activity. We will start with a short briefing, handing over the equipment then a 15-minute approach walk. Arriving at the canyon, you will descend it at your own pace, in complete safety, under the advice of your state-certified guide. The level of this canyon is open, which makes it accessible to everyone!

For two hours, you will have fun with the slides, the hot water basins, the rappelling descents and the waterfall of 30 meters. At the end of the activity, we will finish with a return walk and a short debriefing.

Good to know:

• This activity is available from 6 years old and from 1.25 m.
• This canyon is open from October to June.
• The maximum group capacity is 10 people.
• Please bring your own towel and swimsuit, water and snacks, and sneakers.
• You can collect the photos taken by your guide during the descent, free of charge.
• If you weigh more than 135 kilos, cannot swim more than 25 meters or cannot submerge your body in water, unfortunately you will not be able to perform this activity.
