We offer you this family and fun activity in the Grotte de l'Ermite. Located in Ornolac-Ussat-les-Bains, a few kilometers from Vicdessos, in Ariège.
Come and discover the stalactites and stalagmites, the draperies, the columns and so many other natural creations!

You can accompany them in this crazy exploration or entrust them to our professional instructor so that they can discover the network of the labyrinth paved with natural calcite slides.
He will guide them through the activity and teach them the name of each thing they discover.

Accessible from a very young age, this getaway is ideal for families with small children! A playful and amusing discovery that will accentuate their sense of curiosity!

Organization of the activity:

• We are pleased to meet you at the Thermes d'Ussat-Ornolac les Bains to warmly welcome you. You will be looked after and welcomed by your instructor. He will take care of the children and brief them on the course of the activity and the safety rules to be observed.
• Once all the instructions have been understood, for the comfort and safety of your children, we will provide them with all the necessary equipment. They will have a child-sized caving suit, a child helmet with electric lighting and a topography.
• A 10-minute approach walk will be necessary to get to the entrance of the Hermit's Cave.
• Once arrived at the limestone porch, located at the foot of the great cliffs, they will enter this new underground world to explore it under the supervision of the monitor. He will make them discover the concretionary rooms, the large stalactites and stalagmites, the draperies, the columns, the fistulas, the gours...

They will become real little explorers!

Good to know:

• This activity is carried out in groups of 4 to 10 people (children and adults combined) per instructor.
• The temperature inside the cave is quite pleasant (15°).
• Consider wearing clothes that cover the body and are not messy: long sleeves, covered legs and sports shoes or boots. For those with long hair, we ask you to provide an elastic to tie it.
