Located in Midi-Pyrénées in the Ariège department, we are pleased to offer you this family outing in the caves of the Ariège-Pyrenees Valleys !
In a small group of 4 to 8 people, you will discover the caves of the Vicdessos river having fun in the slides, rappelling down the ropes, descaling the rocks.
This fun activity is suitable for the whole family, come as a group!

In a small group of 4 to 8 people, you will discover the caves of the Vicdessos river having fun in the slides, rappelling down the ropes, descaling the rocks.
This fun activity is suitable for the whole family, come as a group!
Organization of the activity:
- We'll meet you at our adventure base, in the village of Vicdessos.
- You will be warmly welcomed by a friendly instructor who will take care of you in order to prepare you for the activity.
- He will brief you on the activity, explaining the planned route, the instructions to follow and the safety rules.
- Afterwards, he will provide you with all the equipment we provide: the caving suit (all sizes), the helmet with electric lighting, the technical equipment, the boots and the water shoes (available from size 36).
- Discover the caves of the underground river of Vicdessos, starting with a 15-minute approach walk to reach the Goulier stream.
- You will descend the ropes, pass through narrow passages, in the blocks, then in the networks and finally you will come out by the river. 2 minutes later, you will have returned to the adventure base to carry out the briefing with your group.
Good to know:
- This activity is available all year round, but the most favorable period is from March to December (depending on weather conditions).
- Bring clothes with long sleeves, which cover the legs, as well as sports shoes or boots. For people with long hair, you will have to tie it (provide a rubber band).

How long the activity lasts
- This escapade in the Ariège-Pyrenees Valleys takes place over half a day (in the morning, afternoon or evening), i.e. 2h30 to 3 hours.

- We are pleased to welcome you from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from Monday to Sunday.
