Would you like a Vertical Caving outing in the Underground River of Vicdessos? Then join us!

Come and make sporty crossing to discover the magic of the horizontal and vertical cavities of the underground river of Vicdessos!
You will have the opportunity to learn all the underground vertical progression techniques with the help of a qualified and experienced instructor in this field.
He will give you advice and help you improve by giving you valuable advice.

The course of your activity:

We reserve a warm welcome for you at the meeting point which is the SCA center in Niaux, in Ariège. You will be welcomed and looked after by one of our friendly instructors. He will give you a briefing and provide you with the equipment before heading into the underground river.

You will have a harness that contains all the equipment for you to progress on the rope in order to be able to abseil or rope ascent for example.
We also provide you with boots, overalls and a headlamp.
Bring good socks, comfortable pants and a big sweater. A change of clothes for the outing is recommended in case we get a little wet.

Explore the galleries and shafts with a maximum depth of 25 meters, that's not bad!
Discover how these magnificent natural cavities were formed thanks to the force of water and go explore them by going beyond your limits! You will be impressed by all the surprising things you will discover in the depths of the underground river of Vicdessos.
