Mushing hike for children Chablais Geopark 1 hour

Take your child to recharge his batteries in the mountains in the company of sled dogs: an exciting sports outing guaranteed!

Departing from Abondance, in Haute-Savoie, he will travel the snowy slopes of the Alps in the company of faithful four-person companions paws and will admire the massifs, circusesand forest parks of this region of great beauty.

This hike will also offer him the chance to enter the Chablais UNESCO Global Geopark, an exceptional geological park labeled for its remarkablenatural heritage : something to fascinate young and old alike!

Aboard a sled guided by an experienced musher, he will feel the full force of the bond which binds man to his beastsin difficult weather conditions.

Gentle and intelligent, huskies are known for their endurance. They are also very affectionate, enough to please little ones who will enjoy a moment of contact with them at the beginning and end of the hike.

On arrival, the child will be asked to prepare the team and to harnessthe dogs. Then the guidewill explain the safety instructions. If he is over 9 years old, he can even take control of the sled!
