Sled dog ride Forest-Saint-Julien 30min

If you have still not tested the sensations and pleasures of sled dogs, here is a baptism of mushing which will encourage you!

Go to the Hautes-Alpes department to discover this exceptional winter leisure activity. An opportunity for you not only to have fun, but also to visit fabulous places far from the crowds in the town of Forest-Saint-Julien, just one kilometer from Ancelle.

It is a family activity par excellence, which can be done by adults, but also children. There are no physical conditions imposed. Throughout the 30 minutes of the sleigh ride, you will be comfortably seated and enjoy the sumptuous views offered by the snow-covered Southern Alps.

When you arrive there, you will meet your instructor who will welcome you with a big smile and who will talk to you about his passion for his musher profession, how the activity goes, then will tell you a safety briefing. The musher will introduce you to his pack of adorable canines that you can pet and play with for a few minutes. The team being ready, you will sit on the sled, which will be pulled by 8 to 10 northern dogs. The adventure can then begin! Indescribable sensations and unique entertainment await you.

Good to know:

• This is a price for adults, but also children aged 12 and over.
• For the safety and well-being of our canines, a sled cannot have a load whose weight exceeds 200 kg.
• Bring mountain shoes, winter clothing (preferably waterproof), gloves and a hat. A ski mask and sunglasses are also recommended.
