The arched hook and pint of the horn of these mammals bear witness to an architecture buried in the characteristics of the caprine family. The flexibility of their coat does not alter their beauty. In summer, they are an attractive, soothing red. In winter, these jewels of the Pyrenees, the Cantabrian Cordillera and the Apennines are covered in a light coat adorned with black dots on the neck.

At the Argeoises Pyrenees Natural Park, you will have the opportunity, thanks to the educational tools at your disposal, to observe the way of life, the natural habitat in which they evolve the isards.

It will be a moment of great discovery and strong sensations, because you will be led to observe, identify and experience up close the different behavior of males and females, their specific characteristic traits, and above all you will understand the secret of recognizing the age of Isards by the details and sizes of the horns.

The activity will begin with the reception in the premises at the Aston, and with the verification (of the reservation and identity), followed by the meeting with the instructor, and any other accompanying persons for abriefingand reminder of safety measures.
