You do not need a coastal permit to be able to do this hike. You will be supervised and accompanied by a qualified instructor who will be on his own sea scooter and who will guide you to the most sumptuous spots in the Arcachon basin. He will welcome you at the time you have agreed, at the Quai du Capitaine Allègre, to give you a briefing and give you some safety instructions that you will have to follow. The briefing will contain the full description of the route, as well as the basic techniques for advancing, piloting and navigating the jet ski.
