Paragliding initiation course 4 days at Mt Bouquet

This is an paragliding initiation course, extended over 4 days, with 5 sessions as interesting as each other. This takes place at Mont Bouquet in the village named Seynes, in the department of Gard in Occitanie. A region rich in natural heritage. In particular, you will be able to discover the landscapes of the Gardoise garrigue at a fairly high altitude, as well as the small villages which border it, such as Uzès > and Lussan, small towns rich in history and charming castles.

As for your internship, you will be accompanied during all your sessions by an experienced instructor and pilot, who will do a multitude of activities for you so that you can concretize your learning through great flights where you will have the commands. It usually starts on Monday morning and ends on Friday evening, weather permitting.

The first days require a fairly developed physical condition. It is during the latter that you become familiar with the aircraft, focusing on piloting and how to take off. You need to run a lot and have stamina. You will start by doing small jumps, which grow bigger and bigger until you are completely comfortable with all operation of the paraglider and are ready to do the great flight. In addition, you will be assigned all the equipment, namely, a safety helmet, the sail, the VHF radio and the harness.

However, it must be taken into account that the weather conditions can be an essential criterion in view of the smooth running of the activity. It is also necessary to provide air civil liability insurance which can be requested from the French Federation of Free Flight. In addition, this course is not suitable for people under the age of 12.
