1/2 day rafting at Gave d'Ossau in spring - Child

Treat your children by offering them the opportunity to accompany you to an entertaining and sensational activity in the white waters of the Pyrenees- Atlantics.

This is a half-day rafting activity, allowing your children to discover the adventurer within them. The latter will be accompanied by a state qualified instructor, who will ensure that the descent is carried out in a completely secure manner.

The rafting descent that we offer starts in Lourdes, a town just a few kilometers from Pau, in the Pyrenees- Atlantics. They just need to be able to swim and be in good physical condition so that they can be part of this activity. The monitor will take care of everything from that point on. He will give them a simplified and concise briefing in order to clearly explain the activity, the operation of the equipment that will be assigned to them, the techniques for operating in white water, as well as that the security measures to be respected.

Regarding the equipment that will be issued to them, they will have a life jacket, a helmet, a neoprene isothermal suit /strong> and paddles. The boat will be assigned to them upon arrival at the starting point, accompanied by the instructor.

A 2-hour descent will await them, as well as inexplicable sensations, joy and thrills throughout the activity. They will leave Lourdes in the direction of Lestelle-Bétharram, crossing the Gave de Pau, a fast and wild river, but quite easy to cross.
