Rafting descent on the Nive 2h30 - Children

Do you want to give your child a good dose of adrenaline? We know the activity you need!

Rafting being a sport carried out on an inflatable boat on the rapids as a team, it will develop your child's spirit of group work and collaboration, while having fun and providing them with unique sensations! This is why we offer you this beautiful rafting trip lasting two and a half hours, in the heart of the French Basque country!

From the age of six, your little ones are welcome to join us in this experience which will reveal their love for adventure and the discovery of new stunning panoramas. This activity will take place in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, on the Nive River and more particularly in a class II-III area, on board a raft, accommodating up to eight adventurers, in addition to an instructor.

On the day of the activity, you will be welcomed with your little one at our leisure center inItxassou, by one of our qualified instructors. He will take the time to speak with your child and you in order to introduce you to the premises, but also to the activity and its progress. He will then give you the safety equipment, before inviting you to join him at the starting point, with all the other participants.

Once there, it will be time for a security briefing. During this, the instructor will give all his navigation advice, but also his safety instructions for a safe and fun adventure. The time of departure will then have come. Everybody aboard !

The navigation will last an hour and a half, over a distance of 7 km, in which the boats will pass by the most emblematic spots of the Basque country. Laughs, conviviality, wonder and new discoveries... there will be something on the program!

The return to the leisure center will be made using our free shuttle! This activity is a treat for adults, but also for young people, so reserve a place for them in the raft!

Good to know:

• This rate is for children and adolescents aged 6 to 17.
• It is mandatory to be able to swim and submerge to do this rafting trip.
• You must bring a change of clothes, closed shoes, sunscreen, but also a picnic and a bath towel.
• You must also plan arope to attach the glasses if your childdoor.
