rafting is a nautical activity in a team on a boatwhich explores more or less difficult rivers. Whether you are a beginneror experienced, it doesn't matter to us.
You will sail on the Nive River, on a class II-III course. Along 7 km, you will travel through the most essential villages and spots in the Basque country, in order to discover it while living a thrilling adventure.
How does the descent take place?
First, you will arrive at our leisure center, located in the town of Itxassou. It is located 15 minutes by car from Bidarray, and 35 minutes from Biarritz. You will be met at reception to discuss your level and your expectations of this activity. Our team will then present to you the progress of the adventure, then give you the equipment necessary for the activity. Once equipped, you will be taken to the starting point of the descent.
The instructor will give you safety instructions and will quickly train you so that the activity runs smoothly. He will also be present with you throughout the descent, to guide you and then to ensure your safety. He is also astate graduateand has great experience.
You will then board a raft, accommodating up to eight people, and set off on an adventure! You can go there with your friends, your family or even your colleagues, you will love it! You will sail on the Nive for an hour and a half, before arriving at the end of your route. Once this time has arrived, you will be picked up and taken back to our leisure center (starting point), thanks to our free shuttle.

Good to know:
- Before arriving there, make sure you have packed your swimsuit, your picnic, your sunscreen and a change of clothes.
- This activity is carried out from the age of six. However, this rate only applies to adults.
- This is a sporting activity. It is important to wear closed shoes that are suitable foractivity.
- It is essential to know how to swim and submerge yourself to be able to do this adventure.
- If you wear glasses, bring a rope to tie them. A bath towel is also included.to expect.

You will explore the Nive, a river very famous for its water currents and its accessibility to all, on a class II-III course. Once you have your raft, capable of carrying up to eight people, and you have been given a safety briefing, you will be ready to begin this adventure.

You will sail on the white waters of this river, for a distance of 15 km, taking you through the most breathtaking spots of the Basque Country.

Good to know:
- Meet in the morning at the reception of our nautical base, in Itxassou, less than 20 minutes from Bidarray and less than 40 minutes from Biarritz.
- It is important to bring a change of clothes, as it is possible to take a shower after your activity.
- You must bring shoes suitable for the activity, a bathing suit and towel, sunscreen and a rope to attach your glasses.
- A picnic and a bottle of water are also to be provided.
