Segway ride at Parc de la Tête d’Or 2H

The “Segway escape” ride transports you to the heart of the city’s green lung. Take the Via Rhônaon the banks of the Rhône and reach the Parc de la Tête d’Or. You will be surprised by its 117 hectares of shaded paths. Stroll around the lake, discover the African plain and admire the botanical garden…

With this 2-hour ride, you will effortlessly explore new parts of the city with the Segway! It is an electric scooter which has a platform on which you climb by hanging on to a handlebar. As curious as it may seem, the latter is tiltable to allow you to navigate in space: lean forward to move forward and backward to brake, and turn the handlebars to the left or right to accompany your movements!

Although this may seem difficult, the Segway remains accessible to everyone aged 12 and over and you will quickly be able to master the gyropod and go up to 20 km/h! Join us every day in the fifth arrondissement of Lyon. Your local guide will give you a briefing on the visit and will let you take the hands of the Segway.

Then let yourself be amazed by the must-see attractions of Lyon, passing through part of the 5 km of quays along the Rhône, stopping for a moment on the place Bellecour or that of Terreaux to contemplate the town hall, the museum of Fine Artsand the Bartholdi fountain … The heart of the visit will take place in one of the largest urban parks in France: the Tête d'Or Park, a 19th century park with looks like British gardens!
