Night hike in snowshoes - Cerdagne 1/2d

If you have already tested and enjoyed snowshoe hikes and want to try this experience again, here is an original activity to try.

This is snowshoeing at night, allowing you to have fun and experience different types of hiking in a new way. You will discover thanks to this one the Cerdagne, in the middle of the Pyrénées-Orientales. Snowy natural wonders will reveal themselves to you off the beaten track and give you the opportunity to get away from it all and relax.

It is in the town of Font-Romeu-Odeillo-Via that we are waiting for you to do this fantastic activity, more precisely from a parking lot called the Parking du Menhir. On site, the instructor will already be present to welcome you and arrange transport to the departure site. This will take place at 4 p.m., which gives you plenty of time to watch a splendid sunset between the peaks of the Catalan Pyrenees.

Arrived at the place of departure, you will have a briefing by our instructor. He is a state-certified mid-mountain guide and passionate about his region, which he will not hesitate to help you explore. He will then give you a briefing to explain the procedure and use of the snowshoes, as well as the instructions for being safe. It will then be time for you to start walking.

With an elevation gain of 200 m, you will walk on snowy paths and discover Cerdagne at dusk, where you can even come across the fauna of this natural region!

At the end of your hike, our instructor will offer you mulled wine to taste, as a comfort after the effort. It is an activity that you can do even with your children from the age of 8 and enjoy it as a family.
