Snowshoe hike in the Pyrenees - 1/2 day

Half day of hikingin snowshoes, a qualified mountain guide will help you explore the mountains of the Pyrénées-Orientales and discover this practice which is, at the same time, a little physical but technically simple and soothing, at your own pace and that of your steps.

Get ready to see breathtaking landscapes, to live an unforgettable experience. Plus, if we're lucky, we'll be able to see animals huddled under the white coat of winter.

Different themes are offered: walking on frozen lakes, discovery of animal tracks, approach to large wildlife, historical heritage (in the footsteps of Vauban, architect of the fortifications), igloo construction or snow shelters...

Program of the hike:

• Arrival at the meeting point agreed with your instructor and parking of the vehicles.
• Distribution of equipment: snowshoes and walking poles, backpacks if necessary.
• Briefing and demonstration of the use of snowshoes, as well as safety measures.
• Bring: winter hiking outfit (anorack, gloves, hat, sunglasses, water bottle and snacks).
• Departure for the walk.
• Return to where the cars are parked.
