Initiation to ULM piloting flight at Versoud - 40 min

Have you ever wanted to fly alone in the air? This feeling of freedom and escape awaits you during this introduction to ULM flight in the Versoud!

We invite you to discover your talents as a multi-axis ULM pilot in the Versoud, and to discover the superb landscapes of the Alps. Near Lyon, this small authentic town offers us panoramas and an impressive biodiversity.

You can admire the Saint Hilaire du Touvet plateau, Belledonne balconies, the funicular, the small rocks plateau strong>… Known for its world meeting point for air athletes, the Saint Hilaire du Touvet plateau has a stunning view that will leave you speechless!

The course of your activity:

You will be warmly welcomed at Grenoble du Versoud aerodrome by your instructor. You will get to know each other, then he will give you a briefing on the theoretical learning of driving a multi-axis ULM: piloting techniques, knowing how to use the instruments, observing the weather and adapting to it, reading maps, using the radio, understanding air regulations and flight mechanics… All of this will be briefly explained to you in this 10-minute briefing.
The rest you will see in practice!

Before you take off, he will give a quick reminder of the safety rules to follow, then let's go for the adventure! You will fly over the magnificent plateaus of the Versoud Alps and you will put into practice everything you learned during the theoretical briefing.

For 40 minutes, you can experiment, try, discover and above all enjoy!
The practice will go through the operation of the controls, the three axes of the machine, the climb plates, the descents, bearings… And all that while flying!

When you return to the aerodrome, you will debrief with your guide/instructor to share your experience and your feelings on this initiation.
You will analyze the flight together and see your progress, what points you were very successful in putting into practice, and conversely what you had trouble managing , etc.
