Introduction to ULM Piloting Flight at Versoud - 40 min

We invite you to discover your talents as a multi-axis ULM pilotin the Versoud, and to discover the superb landscapes of the Alps. Near Lyon, this small authentic town offers us panoramas and impressive biodiversity.

You can admire the plateau of Saint Hilaire du Touvet, the balconies of Belledonne, the funicular, the plateau of small rocks strong>… Known for its world meeting point for aerial athletes, the Saint Hilaire du Touvet plateau has a breathtaking view that will leave you speechless!

Stage of your activity:

You will be warmly welcomed at Grenoble du Versoud aerodrome by your instructor. You will get to know each other, then he will give you a briefing on the theoretical learning of driving a multi-axis ULM: piloting techniques, knowing how to use the instruments, observing the weather and adapting to it, reading maps, using the radio, understanding aviation regulations and flight mechanics... All of this will be briefly explained to you in this 10-minute briefing.
The rest, you will see in practice!

Before you take off, he will give a quick reminder of the safety rules to follow, then let's go for the adventure! You will fly over the magnificent plateaus of the Versoud Alps and you will put into practice everything you learned during the theoretical briefing.

For 40 minutes, you will be able to experiment, try, discover and above all enjoy!
The practice will go through theoperation of the controls, thethree axes of the machinee, the ascent settings, the descents strong>, bearings… And all that while flying!

When returning to the airfield, you will carry out a debriefing with your guide/instructor to share your experience and your feelings about this initiation.
You will analyze the flight together and see your progress, what points you managed to put into practice very well, and conversely what you had difficulty putting into practice.manage, etc.
