Supervised outing to the Via Ferrata du Capucin 3 hours

Heading out to touch the rocky massifs of Auvergne with your fingertips?

Via ferrata is a hiking activity which consists of taking rock walls, equipped with metal elements which ensure the safety of the climber. The activity we offer is located in the town of Mont-Dore. You will develop your route by climbing the peaks of the Massif Central and by walking along dirt roads where you will have time to contemplate the sublime landscapes of the Puy-de-Dôme .

These 3 hours of excursion will take place in the company of our high mountain guide who is passionate about altitude sports, on hand to give you the best advice so that you progress without any hitch.

There are several difficulties along the way:

• The green course is easier and is perfect for beginners or families with children. It offers magnificent views of the valley and the Massif du Sancy.

• The blue route, which offers slightly more sensations and requires more climbing techniques.

• The red course is the shortest, but also the most difficult of the three. It is intended for people who already have experience and good physical condition.

However, whatever the level of difficulty of the route, the passages taken in via ferrata are adapted to make its use as simple as possible. This is why it is not necessary to be an expert to practice this activity.
