Description of Voilemed

Since 2002, Voilemed has been supporting all those who wish to discover the open sea aboard a magnificent racing catamaran!

This boat nicknamed "Picardie region" was built in the region of the same name in 1983 by the architect Gino Morelli, it is the first carbon multihull. This catamaran has many advantages, it is mainly recognized for its stability and its performance in terms of speed. The Picardie region won numerous races between 1984 and 1987.

The boat can accommodate up to 20 people on board!

Voilemed is also a sea enthusiast and boat who has been sailing since the age of 8 . For years Alain Petit-Etienne has participated in numerous races in addition to managing his sailing school. He also holds several titles and records, notably that of crossing the English Channel in just 2 hours 30 minutes.

He participated in the project to create the Picardie region and today offers the general public the opportunity to enjoy his boat now that the duo is is withdrawn from the races.

Voilemed offers excursions to Port Camargue to discover navigation aboard this prestigious sailboat strong>. You can go for a day or half-day in the company of Alain who will be happy to share his passion for nautical racing > with all the crew.
