Canoe rental for 1/2 day at L’île Barbe 10 km

We suggest you rent a canoe or kayak for half a day. During this activity, you will discover the wonders of the city of Lyon located on the shore. Through 10 km of descent, you will have your fill of discoveries, rejuvenationand fun!

For this activity, we invite you to meet at la Mulatière. Here, we will explain how the activity will take place and we will give you the safety instructions to follow. Once we have answered all your questions, we will take you to the starting point with a mini bus.

The descent begins from Ile de Barbe, located on the outskirts of Lyon. This island, whose remains of the ancient abbey are still visible, transports you into a medieval atmosphere, enough to fill up on a change of scenery. At the starting point of the descent, you will equip yourself with a flotation vest and place your personal belongings in a waterproof container which will be placed on the boat for the exit. Once you are ready, you can navigate freely for 10 km to Confluence. It's up to you: paddle, enjoy, relax and make lots of discoveries!
