Canyoning descent to Gours du Ray 1/2 day

In the heart of the Alpes-Maritimes department, in the Gours du Ray canyon, you will discover the basics of this practice which is growing more and more and which continually has many followers. In a heavenly natural environment, you can explore this magical area which is located in Gréolières and which benefits from a beautiful combination of routes providing adrenaline rushes, but also pure entertainment.

You will therefore explore the Loup Valley, as well as its waterways, with the accompaniment of an instructor who loves his job and who, moreover, holds a diploma of state in canyoningand climbing. He will assist you and give you his best tips, trying to share his experience with you as best as possible. The latter is also willing to communicate with you not only in French, but also in English and German. You can then invite all your friends who want to discover the natural wonders of France.

Whether you are with friends or family, he will adapt his itinerary and instructions to the average level of the group, so that fun and safety are the priority of this fabulous half-day. In this picturesque and wild setting, you will have the opportunity to discover your true adventurous side by jumping into the natural pools with emerald waters, which can reach a height of 7 m. This is obviously optional. If your children, or you yourself prefer to enjoy a slightly lighter and more fun adventure, you will take part in the slides on the natural slides, the small rappelling descents offered and swim in the deep pools.

You will meet your instructor at a meeting point in a car park a stone's throw from Gréolières. After a quick presentation and a short briefing, he will give you your protective equipment, you will walk for approximately 10 minutes to arrive at the canyon. Your adventure will last at least two hours, before you take your 20-minute walk back to the starting point.

• Good physical condition and good health is required for the practice of canyoning.
• You must know how to swim and immerse yourself in water to progress in thecanyoning.
• You must be able to hike for 2 hours with a slight difference in altitude to enjoy this descent.
• Pregnant women cannot participate.
• Equipment to provide: a swimsuit and a bath towel, two pairs of shoes (one for the descent and the other for changing).
• Water and snacks are strongly recommended.
