Canyoning Subra Canyon in Vicdessos - 1 day

Are you a fan of canyoning, looking to surpass yourself and discover extreme canyons? Come and try Canyoning in Subra Canyon!

Located in Vicdessos, in the Vicdessos Valley, the mountains of Midi-Pyrénées-Ariège offer us many canyons to explore. If you like canyons that require technique and surpassing oneself, the subra canyon will please you!

To perform this activity you absolutely must know how to swim and it is advisable to have knowledge of rope abseiling techniques.

By having had previous experience, you will be more comfortable doing this activity which still requires certain knowledge, which could handicap you if you do not have it.

The highest pendulum of this canyon is at a height of 30 meters, get ready to feel unique and unforgettable sensations!

Schedule of your Canyoning day

You will be warmly welcomed at 9:00 am at our adventure base in Vicdessos. An experienced instructor will take care of you in order to provide you with the appropriate equipment and material: neoprene set (long John, jacket, socks, T-shirt), a harness with technical progress equipment, a protective helmet, a can waterproof to store your personal belongings and a carry bag.

Once you are all equipped, your instructor will give you a briefing on the course of the day, the planned route, the instructions to follow and the safety rules. Finally, you will walk for an hour to reach the foothills of Montcalm and reach the start of Subra canyon.
Have fun in this superb canyon and go beyond your limits!
Around noon, you will break for lunch. Remember to bring your picnic and a bottle of water!

Continue descending the canyon, jumping over the huge waterfalls, sliding down the natural slides and descending from rope to rope.
Once the canyon is finished, you will walk 15 minutes during which you will brief the group and your instructor in order to share the unique experience you have just had!
