Technical canyoning day at the Dardu canyon

The calanques of Piana represent a highlight of the island of beauty. The latter are very original and arouse the curiosity of many fans and hunters of unusual landscapes and surprising. They are part of the UNESCO world heritage sites and can be spotted just a stone's throw from Cargèse (30 minutes' drive).

In addition, they clog magnificent corners and paradisiacal places, such as the Dardu canyon. You can now explore the latter, as part of a day where you will practice canyoning.

Indeed, you will make a fairly technical descent, where you will be able to do many abseilings, jumps from a significant altitude, and dizzying slides strong> and large basins where you can bathe and enjoy the fresh water there. It is therefore strongly recommended to have prior experience in canyoning.

You will start your day at 10 a.m., the time at which you will go to the meeting point which is the football field at the entrance to the calanches of Piana. A state qualified instructorwill welcome you there with a briefingto train you and provide you with all the information and tips you may need.

He will also distribute your equipment, namely, a harness, helmet, canyoning backpack, canyoning shoes strong> and neoprene suit.

Once everyone is ready, you will go to the canyon with a 10-minute approach walke before starting your descent. The latter lasts approximately 5 hours, not counting the picnic break that you will have to take (picnic and bottle of water to be provided).

You will finish the activity by returning to the starting point, thanks to a walk that can last up to 1 hour.
