Vertaco Canyon Descent - 4H

Less than an hour from Grenoble, improve your skills in canyoning by descending the Vertaco Canyon!

Isère is a department suitable for the practice of canyoning thanks to the presence of its numerous canyons, your descent activity takes you to the lower part of the canyon des Ecouges. This unspoiled natural setting offers sublime views and an ideal playground for canyoning enthusiasts.

Your activity takes place over half-day; first, a safety briefing then an approach walk of around 5 minutes. After that, enjoy 4 hours of fun going down the canyon. The first part of the descent is particularly impressive, with a 25 meter rappel! The rest is more entertaining between slides, jumps and zip lines! Then it's already the end, and the only thing you can think about is starting again!

Throughout your activity you are supervised by a state qualified instructor who is keen to help you benefit from your experience. He is with you at all times to reassure, guide you and give you the good postures to adopt to descend safely. Safety equipment and neoprene suits are provided.

For safety reasons, it is desirable to have had first experience in canyoning and children under 12 years old are not accepted.

Some tips to ensure that your activity goes as smoothly as possible; a good pair of shoes for walking or tennis is recommended, think about your swimsuit, your towel, the waterand an easy-to-carry snack!
