Half-day Discovery at Canyon Canceigt

We offer you a half-day in the heart of the Ossau valley to make the discovery of canyoning and to understand this discipline in a breathtaking setting that will delight you and will make you want to discover more. Indeed, the activity will take place in the magnificent and wild Canceigt Canyon.

The latter is aesthetically very pleasant, with several natural slides with emerald waters, abseiling descents, with a length of up to 8 m (which you can avoid ), but also deep pools in which you can jump and swim, for a more fun side of the descent.

With an experienced instructor and canyonism graduate, you are sure to have a safe and enriching experience. He will adapt his instructions and tips to your level and will inform you as much as possible of the safety instructions to follow, as well as the techniques to progress down the descent in a pleasant and safe manner.

Access to the canyon is from the town of Laruns. Your meeting point is in the Laruns college parking lot. The instructor will be waiting for you there to give you the briefing and give you the equipment you will need for this 2.5 hour descent. Once the whole group is ready, it will be time to do a short approach walk to access the canyon and begin the adventure.

Good to know:

• It is important to be able to swim and submerge yourself in the water to make the descent.
• This activity is for adults and children aged 10+.
• Canyoning shoes are not loaned. You can rent them on site for 5 euros.
• A swimsuit, a bath towel, a picnic and a bottle of water are required.
• During your descent, you will have photos taken, so that you can keep a memory of the descent. Your photos will be sent to you by email.
