Are you a diver ? So come and discover the seabed of the Arcachon basin!
We are located in Mios, just 20 minutes from Arcachon and 40 minutes from Arès.
The meeting point is at the Arcachon slipway at the monument to sailors.
This dive is addressed to an public already experienced and having experiences in scuba diving. You will dive with a tank, accompanied by your instructor who will show you the best places in the Arcachon basin. You will have the opportunity to see the wreck of the boat Roche-Velaine, more than 16 meters deep.
You will be impressed by the blockhouses, dating from the Second World War, which today are completely submerged, becoming a real habitat for the biodiversity that has settled there. You will discover many species there such as slipper lobsters, soles, conger eels, but above all a multitude of anemones. You will be dazzled by the beauty of these anemones, changing from purple, to blue or to yellow.
You will have the opportunity to admire the Arcachon basin during the boat trip. So do not hesitate to take photos to immortalize the moment.

- This dive is only for people who have already had a level 1 diving training.

Description of Exploration dive without tank 1/2d Mios
Want to discover a world still hidden from men? So, come and do a dive without tank in the Arcachon basin.Our dive center is located in Mios, in Gironde, just 20 minutes from Arcachon and 40 minutes from of Ares. But the meeting point is not within our club, but the slipway Arcachon of the monument to sailors.
Once you arrive at the meeting point, you will be received by one of our diving instructors, who will be happy to equip you with a neoprene suit, a mask and of a snorkel. Then, you will attend a briefing, which will explain the course of the activity, but also the respect of the safety rules.
The formalities completed, you will board our boat, heading for the adventure. You will leave for the Arcachon basin, where you will dive to meet a lush biodiversity. During the approach time by boat to the dive site, you will have the opportunity to admire the Bay of Arcachon.
During the dive, you will be accompanied by one of our instructors, who will guide you so that you discover these seabed perfectly. You will be amazed by the encounters you will make under the water, but also at the sight of the blockhouses dating from the war, still intact but flooded.

Come and discover the fauna and flora of the Arcachon basin during this scuba diving exploration excursion strong> !The Arcachon basin is home to many forgotten riches such as the wrecks of boats and planes, which have since been covered by coral and seagrass.
For example, you can observe the boat wreck La Roche-Velaine, an old steamboat very well preserved and inhabited by all species: mules, bass, bream, lobster, nudibranch, ray torpedo, >congers… It rests on a sandy bottom 16 meters deep, enough to amaze you!
You will also visit several blockhouses inhabited by soles, triggerfish, congers, cicadas of sea, bream, bass, cuttlefish, grisets and red mullets.
The seagrasses marine are omnipresent in the Arcachon basin and are populated by many seahorses. Carpets of anemones and corals in bright and changing colors will remain unforgettable!
Organization of the activity:

- Your instructor, companion and guide will provide you with the materials and equipment: oxygen bottle, diving suit, life jacket and regulator.
- He will give you a briefing on the safety rules and the planned route, then you will leave by boat to the Arcachon basin.
