It is a baptism of diving for beginners and which begins from a beach, in order to ensure optimal safety and to reassure all those who are apprehensive. At Barcarès, you will enjoy this magical place, with its sublime landscapes. You will also discover the secrets of what the city hides beneath its waters, such as natural wonders and fascinating marine species. The Pyrénées-Orientales department will appear to you in a new light.

The activity will be done with a state qualified instructor who will be with you throughout your experience. He will receive you, supervise you and reassure you. He will first of all start by welcoming you and giving you a briefing where he will inform you of the basic concepts of diving, namely water pressure, breathing in water, etc. He will speak to you and insist on the security measures to respect.

With your instructor, once ready, he will put you in equipment, then accompany you into the water. At the beginning you will be on the beach, in the place where you will have footing, in order to begin the first diving exercises. You will then go increasingly to deeper places, not exceeding three meters. You will spend an average of 15 minutes there, immersion in a diving suit.

This first dive will be done from a boat. It is therefore an adventure reserved for all people who have already been introduced to diving before. You will therefore be in a place in the sea where the depth is between 3 to 5 m. An expert instructor will obviously be with you, to supervise your outing and to share with you all his knowledge, especially the basic notions of diving and the safety instructionsthat you must follow.

He will ensure that you are kept informed on everything important to know in his briefing. He will then give you your equipment. The boat will then start to go to the predefined dive zone. Once there, you will begin your dive with the instructor, which will last approximately 20 minutes. You will therefore have time to admire themarine speciesof this area, as well as all the other natural wonders that you will find.
