Mushing baptism for children in La Villette 30min

We are taking your little one to experience a magical activity in the heart of the Hautes-Alpes department, to discover the joys of this leisure activity coming from Scandinavia. It's a baptism of mushing, allowing him to experience incredible moments (which he can even experience in your company), and discover new horizons covered in snow. This adventure takes place at the Chaillol 1600 ski resort. It is located in the town of Saint-Michel-de-Chaillol, 35 minutes from Orcières, 40 minutes from Gap , or an hour by car from Embrun. To get to the meeting point, you will have to leave your car at Place Bagatelle, then board the Clôt-Chenu chairlift 1, to go to a strong>track named “Le Chemin”. From there, you will have to walk followingorange signs for 250 m. On these is written "Sled dogs", you won't be able to get lost.

Having arrived at the starting point, your musher will welcome you and then introduce you to all his Nordic dogs, huskies / malamutes … He will then give a short briefing to your child as well as all the other participants, to explain to them the procedure and the safety measures, before they sit on the sleds and begin the activity.
