Are you passing through Charente-Maritime and would like to discover the region in a fun way? How about 1 hour of canoeing on the Sèvre Niortaise?
We take you to discover the Marais Poitevin, labeled Regional Natural Park and Grand Site de France. Located between the department of Charente-Maritime, Vendéeand Deux-Sèvres, this place is also called the Green Venice , for its green landscape and the tranquilityit provides.
We will meet you directly at the locality of Marais Fleuri, in Marans. Here, you will find our team, with whom you will make a first contact and discover our nautical base. You will then receive your equipment as well as a short summary concerning the use of your boat, the navigation rules, the safety instructions, etc.
Once you are ready, you will set sail for an hour aboard your canoe kayak. On the program: change of scenery, rejuvenation, discovery, wonder... You will discover or rediscover the joys of skiing in a breathtaking environment! You can navigate wherever you want using a navigation map given to you at reception. When the activity comes to an end, you will return to dry land, within our leisure base and debrief with us on this exceptional moment!

Description of 2-hour kayak trip in the Marais Poitevin
Want a getaway, greenery and navigation? We offer you two hours of navigation on the Sèvre Niortaise aboard a kayak!During this activity, you will have the opportunity to discover the Marais Poitevin located between the Charente-Maritime, the Deux-Sèvres and the Deux-Sèvres strong>Vendée. We welcome you to the town of Marans, located in the New Aquitaine region. Maransis located only a few kilometers from Saint Jean de Mont and la Rochelle.
For this activity, the meeting point is at our nautical base, in Marans, at the locality of Marais Fleuri. You will be welcomed by our staff who will explain the progress of your walk, show you the routes you can take and brief you on the navigation instructions to follow.
He will also give you a map including the different circuits available where you can choose the circuit you want to do. You will then collect your boat and your equipment and set off for two hours of navigation on the Sèvre Niortaise! You will discover the wonders of Green Venice, admire the fauna and flora, enjoy a real moment of escape and tranquility… Once the activity is finished, you will return to the shore and hand over your equipment to our team.

- This kayak trip is possible from April to October.
- It is essential to know how to swim and submerge to carry out this activity.

Description of 1/2 day kayak trip in the Marais Poitevin
Do you like nature, adventureand navigation? We take you to discover the landscapes of Charente-Maritime with a half-day kayak offer!During this activity, you will navigate the Sèvre Niortaise, the main artery of the Marais de Poitevin. This Marsh is a Regional Natural Park classified as a Grand Site of France and will amaze you with its beautyand its richness.
We are waiting for you in Marans, at our nautical base located in the locality of Marais Fleuri! Here you will be looked after by our team in a friendly atmosphere. She will brief you on the activity as well as the navigation instructions and will give you the boat of your choice. You will then put on your life jackets, place your personal belongings in a waterproof container and set off sailing for half a day!
You can even take your picnic with you and stop wherever you want on the bank to relax and rest your arms! During this half-day, you will observe the rich environment that surrounds you, enjoy the soothing and the rocking of the water , share a good time with family or friends... At the end of the half-day, you will return to our leisure center and drop off your equipment.
Good to know:
- We welcome you from April to October for your kayak trips.
- Swimming skills are essential for your kayak trip and you must also be able to submerge yourself.
- Don’t forget your swimwear, a change of clothes and your sun protection! We ask that you please wear shoes during the activity.
