Description of 2-hour Stand Up Paddle ride to Sète
Paddle is a gentle sports practice that mobilizes all the muscles in your body. From the work of sheathing while standing on the board to the effort of paddling, the ride promises to be quiet and will give you the opportunity to discover Paddle at your own pace while inviting you to relaxation.
All levels are welcome, an instructor will teach you the basics of this board sport. Then take advantage of the two-hour walk to take the time to master them: you will see in particular how to keep your balance or how to navigate the water.
Let yourself be enchanted by the beauty of the landscapes of Hérault with this crossing of the pond of Ingril, the passage through strong>towpaths or by the Salins de Frontignan. The latter are a protected natural area which formerly consisted of a salt mining site!
The aquatic walk will end with a passage in the Natural Reserve of mother-of-pearl and sea urchins, where you can fully contemplate the fauna and flora of the region while observing the wonders that lie beneath your board…
Good to know :
- Bring your swimsuit and something to protect you from the sun.
- Wetsuits and neoprene slippers will be available at an additional cost if you request them.
- Paddle equipment: paddle board, paddle, vest.
- Briefing and support by a certified instructor.

Is there a better way to unwind after a long day than to share a moment with loved ones? At Frontignan in Hérault, we give you the opportunity to live a unique experience by combining a one-hour Stand Up Paddle hike to an aperitif on the water at sunset!
On the program, you will (re)discover wild and preserved sites of Languedoc-Roussillon. You will sail in particular on the Rhône Canal, in Sète, in Salins, or in the middle of the Bois des Aresquiers >, a green oasis of nearly 180 hectares…
An instructor will supervise the activity and make sure you have a good time. So, he will go over the session and the safety instructions with you when you arrive at Frontignan, and he will offer to teach you the basics of Stand Up Paddle. br />
The activity is in fact accessible to everyone whatever your level, do not hesitate to convince your friends and family members to join you. You will then go to sea in a group of up to ten people, before enjoying the sunset while tasting local wines.
Disconnect from everyday life and the city for an evening on the water…
