Discovery of rafting on 6KM towards Perpignan

Accessible from eight years old, we offer here a discovery session of rafting with a six-kilometer descent on the Aude. Ideal for families or groups of friends, rafting requires coordination efforts from its participants, and to demonstrate coolness.

Indeed, rafting actually consists of traversing tumultuous white water in the middle while crossing beautiful natural landscapes in teams of 8 people aboard a large inflatable boat .

On board, you will also be accompanied by a state-certified instructor. The latter will take a moment beforehand to teach you the safety instructions and provide you with the rafting equipment, before giving you an overview of the descent and teaching you how to use your paddle.

Departing from the Gorges de Saint Georges car park near the town of Axat, you will begin your descent of the Aude crossing the magnificent gorges, then you can enjoy a total change of scenery in the heart of the Pyrenees mountains! This descent offers you the opportunity to introduce yourself to this sport gently, while reserving a few rapids for everyone to have pleasure.

Good to know:

• Remember to bring your swimsuit and closed sports shoes.
• A vehicle will be waiting for us upon our arrival at Belvianes-et-Cavirac to take us back to the Gorges car park. You can also take advantage of the trip to collect your souvenir photos of the descent!
• Our area has a picnic area, so don't hesitate to bring a snack to get the adrenaline down and regain your strength after the session.
