PAC parachute initiation jump in Vieux-Reng 1 day

If you have already done a first-time skydive and want to learn more and jump independently, this activity is for you.

It is an activity which is in the form of ajump in accompanied progression. This is the first jump you can do if you want to take skydiving training. It consists of you doing your parachute jump alonein the company of two instructors, but without being attached to any of them.

The latter will take place at the Maubeuge - Vieux-Reng - Élesmes aerodrome, in the commune of Vieux-Reng in the North department . The latter is only 9 km from the center of Maubeuge. The aerodrome is also one hour from Cambrai, but also only 45 minutes from Valenciennes.

On the day of your activity, you will report to the aerodrome, where our team of state-certified instructors will be waiting for you. After your welcome, you will be put straight to the heart of the matter. A half-day training will take place. This theoretical training will contain information on the parachute and its operation, the gestures and positions to adopt during the free fall and landing, safety instructions, but also the best techniques for handling the parachute.

At the end of this training, one of our instructors will give you a helmet, a wetsuit, goggles and of course a parachute. Now you are ready to embark. The plane will take off and you will go on a flight of approximately 15 minutes, until you reach an altitude of 4,000 m.

The plane door opens and you and the two instructors launch into a free fall at a speed of 200 km/h. This lasts one minute. At an altitude of 1500 m, you will open the parachute and you will descend slowly, flying over magnificent landscapes such as Val de Sambre. You will be guided by the instructors via remote radio, so you can make a safe and successful landing.
