Take the great outdoors in Romans with Vercors Vol à Voile!
Vercors Vol à Voile is an association affiliated with the French Gliding Federation. It is managed exclusively by volunteers and today has more than a hundred members.
Their objective: To make gliding accessible to as many people as possible through numerous formulas:
- Glider Initiation Flights: 10, 20, 30 minutes...The choice is yours! You will then discover the unique sensations of glider flight and will have the privilege of observing Romans and its surroundings from the sky!
- Glider Initiation Courses: Do you want to discover some? Here is a formula made for you! 10 glider flights spread over several days to begin to master piloting techniques and flight management.
- Glider Pilot School: You will need approximately 40 hours of flight time (including 25 in dual commands) to obtain your Glider Pilot Certificate. Theoretical lessons, practical tests, the club's enthusiasts will offer you complete instruction!
- Improvement School and circuit: for those of you wishing to go even further!
The association now has a fleet of 14 gliders.
