Domaine de Pouzelas

Seasoned rider or complete beginner wishing to discover horse riding? Come to Montgivray to meet our beautiful frames! The Domaine de Pouzelas welcomes you all year round near the town of La Châtre and offers you various horseback rides in the Boischaud region.

Our professional and qualified instructors will accompany you to discover the approved trails of the surrounding countryside during a walk plunging you into the heart of the local heritage. Rural landscapes and a change of scenery guaranteed! From the top of your mount, the fields and bocages, witnesses of centuries-old agriculture, stretch out as far as the eye can see.

Depending on your age and level, we offer several types of walks departing from our stables:

• The classic walk in Boischaud, for adults: the length will be adapted according to your level. It takes you at a walk, trot or gallop along the equestrian tourism routes traced in the surrounding area. Accompanied by an instructor, you will learn the secrets of horse riding and the symbiosis between the rider and his mount.
• The pony ride, for children: a real equestrian baptism to be carried out on the trails surrounding the stable! Specially designed for the little ones, this ride consists of familiarization with the touching animal that is the horse.

At Domaine de Pouzelas, we organize our activities with your safety as our primary concern. The mounts that we have selected to organize our rides are distinguished by their docility and their ability to adapt to a public of beginners. They are used to being used by different riders and are suitable for both a discovery ride and a more sporting activity.

We look forward to meeting you at our Pouzelas stables, a few minutes from La Châtre, in the Indre department. Allow around 40 minutes by car from Châteauroux, and one hour from Bourges.
