Thisequestrian farmis located in the small town of Tauves, in Auvergne, just an hour from Clermont-Ferrand > and 50 minutes from Mauriac.

In order to meet all your expectations,Islandais de la Rodde offers you a huge range of choices of activities:

Horse riding:

• Horseback riding of 1 hour, 1 hour 30 minutes, 2 hours or 3 hours: with 15 minutes of saddle time in the quarry then a ride.
• 45-minute career session for children or adults.

During these walks, you will be immersed in nature, immersed between countryside and forest, sharing this unforgettable activity with your loved ones, but also your horse.

In addition,Islandais de la Rodde organizes horseback ridings of at least 1 day, where you can take a realhorseback riding excursion.

• Day hike: 5 to 6 hours of horseback riding, where you will discover magnificent landscapes and picnic in the middle of nature.
• 2-day hike with Bivouac: You will sleep in a tent next to Lake Savennes or in the middle of the mountains, thus discovering the fauna and flora of Puy-de-Dôme .
• 3-day hike with two nights in a lodge: From June to mid-October, you have the opportunity to follow this route, the Sancy North West Massif. The Dordogne and the Bort les Orgues Lake are available all year round.
• Hiking in Dômes Sancy 5 days and 4 nights in a lodge: A route of approximately 150 km in Auvergne, where you will have the opportunity to admire the breathtaking panoramas of this region.
• Hiking in thegreat lakes of Avergne 6 days 5 nights in lodges: Lac Chauvet, Pavin, the lake of Montcineyre, the lake Servières, the lake of Guéry.
• Hiking in the Savoyard country 5 days/6 nights: During this magnificent excursion in the Alps, you will be captivated by the beauty of the landscapes that will be offered to you such as the Savoyard vineyards , the Pomboz castle, the Lavours marshes.

Icelandic Rodde also accepts hikes designed by you,according to your dates and your desires. Only condition? The hike should not exceed more than 8 days.
