Come and discover the Durance and Jabron valleys on horseback! Western fans or budding riders, the Thor Pony Club invites you to Sisteron, in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, for horseback riding excursions in the hills of the Pre-Alps .

Our equestrian center is ideally located a few minutes from the village of Sisteron, in the heart of the dry Sisteronais region, characteristic of Provence and its picturesque landscapes. It is surrounded by numerous nature discovery trails, among which we have selected itineraries suitable for all levels:

• Our hand-held pony rides: ideal for beginners up to eight years old. Accompanied by a parent and a qualified instructor from the equestrian center, your child will be able to familiarize themselves with their new best friend: the pony! More than a ride, we offer you an introduction to animal care and a discovery of the equestrian world, which may give rise to vocations.

• Our horseback rides: lasting from one hour to half a day, they are suitable for beginners and experienced riders alike! These take you into a green setting and offer a breathtaking panoramic view of the mountains of the Alpes de Provence.

What makes our reputation: our professionalism and our geographical location! Horse lovers for generations, we share our passion with authenticity and education. Our instructor holds equestrian tourism certificates and has many years of experience with equines. Our horses are perfectly trained and accustomed to welcoming visitors: gentle and endearing, they will offer you a moment of emotional connection with nature.

Furthermore, we are ideally located between the Lubéron and Verdon regions, halfway between Gap, Digne and Aix.
