Biesheim Karting Track:
History:
Launched by Messrs. Haeffeli and Tessonier, karting was born in 1973, brought together around twenty members and on September 28, 73, the constitutive general assembly formalized the club which is chaired by MM. Messrs. Haeffeli and Tessonier. In January 74 the club became affiliated with GNK. the club has continued to progress to reach 120 members in 83.
In 1975 the municipality submitted the plan of the land which it made available to the club on the edge of CD 12; June 27, 1976 historic date with the CIK President's Cup - first International race, the start is given by the Mayor Mr. HUG. iDEM October 3, 1976.
On April 7, 1996, the 20th anniversary of the Club and the track were celebrated with Alain Ribager president and all their former founding members.
July 1994 French Minimes-cadet Championship.......... the last of its kind and absolute success;
And since then the life of the club has continued its course with its 80/90 members and its club and company organizations, its piloting school from which the most famous such as Bruno Spengler and Nicolas Armindo emerged.
