Located in the charming village of La Ferrière, in Isère, very close to Allevard, the Clos de la Vallée Blanche breeding farm warmly welcomes you within the intact and wild natural environment of the Vallée du Upper Breda!

This valley, renowned for its raw character and serenity, offers an ideal setting for our breeding. Our polar dogs are absolutely unique and extraordinary, possessing abilities that never fail to amaze. They are the product of a deep and rich history, spanning millennia. They have been the faithful allies of the inhabitants of the far north, facilitating their existence in often hostile environments. These incredible canines were at the heart of remarkable exploits, such as during the Great War on the Vosges front, or during the construction of the Junfraü railway in Switzerland. Their endurance, power and loyalty are simply impressive.

The life of a musher is not just an ordinary activity, it is an authentic passion, a vocation that we are delighted to share with you through our activities throughout the year. During the winter season, the snow transforms the landscape into a magical setting. Sliding on a sled pulled by a team of polar dogs is purely and simply magical, an experience that awakens the senses and warms the hearts.

Outside of the winter season, we offer a range of activities allowing for more fun and friendly interaction with these remarkable dogs. Whether it is a guided tour of our breeding, cani-hiking or cani-trotinette outings, or a full day dedicated to discovery of the daily life of our dogs, there are options for all tastes. These activities offer everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, a unique opportunity to connect with these splendid creatures.

Come discover the fascinating world of polar dogs! These extraordinary creatures possess astonishing abilities and a history that spans millennia. These faithful companions from the far north allowed people to survive and prosper in these inhospitable lands. They are the origin of remarkable feats, such as that on the Vosges front during the Great War, or during the construction of theJugfrau railway in Switzerland.

The Clos de la Vallée Blanche breeding farm is pleased to offer you a unique experience: mushing! Come and feel the magic of a team of sled dogs moving in a snowy natural setting. You will have the opportunity to drive your own dog team for a half or full day.

Le Clos de la Vallée Blanche also offers services specially designed for children, ideal for summer camps, discovery classes and leisure centers. Outside of the winter season, during spring, summer and autumn, we welcome you directly to the farm, allowing an even more friendly experience. This period is particularly interesting from an educational point of view, with a diversity of activities that take into account not only the handling of dogs. But it is also interesting for observing life in a pack and discovering their history.

The center offers you various unusual hikes throughout the year:

• Dog sled rides: the magic of teaming up sled dogs in a snowy natural environment. Each leads a team of dogs duration: 1/2 day or full day.
• Cani hiking: cross-country walking by leading the dog to which you are harnessed (using a belt fitted with a lanyard). By feeling the strength of the dog, you will be able to easily use it and understand how sled dogs pull. Cani hiking is affordable for almost everyone, from 6 years old duration: 1/2 day.
• Cani trottinette: even without snow, we find the gestures of the sled, the sharing of the effort, no longer with one dog, but with 2 dogs harnessed to the scooter. We use the strength of harnessed dogs to pass almost everywhere. Cross-country sensations, to the rhythm of dogs, from 11 or 12 years old. duration: 1/2 day.

Theme day, during non-snow periods, over 1 day:

• Husky my friend: breeding visit (understand the pack life and the history of these dogs) and cani hiking or cani scooter (understand how the team works).
• Husky sensation: cani hiking and cani scooter understanding how dogs tow and how the harness works.
