Génération Roc

Génération Roc, the association of climbing enthusiasts in Haute Marne.

The association was created in 2008 around the passion for mountain sports, and in particular climbing.

Today, it is a school that teaches practice:

• Wall climbing
• Cliff climbing
• Competition

All for all types of practitioners (children, adults, beginners or experienced). Your level doesn't matter. For them, the important thing is the desire to improve, and not the initial level of the practitioner.

Opening days follow the school calendar, that is to say from September to June.

Climbingis a sport accessible to all, and allows you to practice a complete physical activity, since the whole body is involved. In addition, it brings self-improvement, physical and psychological well-being, reduced stress…

Génération Roc Climbing Wall awaits you forclimbing training!

Do you want to discover climbing? Are you a practitioner and want to improve?

No matter your level. Professionals will be there to adapt to your desires, and teach you how to use the equipment. If you want to practice climbing in a friendly and warm atmosphere, you can go:

• Climbing wall: at the Camille Saint Saens college gymnasium on Tuesdays from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. for adults who want a leisure activity
• Bouldering room: In the bouldering room of the old Victor Hugo school on Mondays from 6:15 p.m. to 8 p.m. for adults who want a leisure activity.

As for children and adolescents, they have other time slots. Do not hesitate to contact them for more information. The practice is open to them from 7 years old.

Génération Roc Escalade organizes cliff outings, for outdoor climbing!

Between the months of May and June, the weather conditions are more favorable, and the association therefore offerscliff climbing outings.

Their specialty is, basically, to promote the practice of mountain sports.

They will take you in particular to the three most recognized cliffs of the Haute Marne: La Roche Bernard, le Côna and Cohons. You will have something to please yourself, in the company of other enthusiasts who, like you, are looking forthrillsand surpassing oneself.

They also organize one-week climbing courses in April, and outings more focused on mountaineering.

These services are available for both adults and children, for whom specific outings are also possible.
