The Union Sportive Fontenaysienne (U.S.F.) is an omnisports club created in 1965 to allow Fontenay residents to practice their favorite sports.

The association brings together 48 disciplines and 36 different sections such as climbing, sports nautical , ski, hiking, mountain biking, etc.

This sporting diversity indicates that new sections and disciplines could possibly appear in the not distant future within the U.S.F.

Today it has 5,429 members of all ages. Some of them have obtained titles of World Champions and others Olympic titles.

These victories are, of course, thanks to the talent of the athletes who are part of the club, but also to the quality of the leaders and coaches as well as the facilities that the U.S.F. has.

The Union Sportive Fontenaysienne invites you to come and discover diving!

A team of FFESSM initiators and instructors and qualified swimming instructors await you at the Fontenay sous bois Municipal Swimming Pool to carry out lessons practical and theoretical concerning this magnificent discipline.

In addition to diving training, you will also have the opportunity to train in apnea, fin swimming or shooting on target! The club will provide you with the necessary equipment so that you make the most of the activity.

From the age of 14 years and without limitations for the oldest (unless medically indicated), the U.S.F. presents itself as a sport and discovery space.

In order to complete the diving training, the U.S.F. offers day outings (in fosses of the Paris region), trips on the coastlineand French lakesor to the abroad.

After the preparation and training received, you will receive a federal diploma which will certify all the skills you have acquired.

More or less 3 times a month, the U.S.F. organizes full-day hikes throughout the Ile de France for nature lovers of all ages (from 8 years).

During the activity, different themes can be discussed in order to make the hike more interesting. Namely: Botanical, cultural, architectural, etc.

The club provides you with public transport to reach your destination, as well as trainers and certified facilitators who will lead you throughout the tour. the walk.

The club will send you a quarterly program indicating all the planned outings, this way you can choose which ones you wish to attend.

Day hikes, brisk walks, weekends and weeks are the types of activities you can experience at U.S.F.

The U.S.F. Climbing is aimed at everyone (from 6 years old) for free practice at the Gymnase Colette BESSON, located in Fontenay-sous-Bois.

The gymnasium has 61 lanes in 19 corridors. For the more experienced, workouts on the artificial wall of the gymnasium are open from Monday to Friday between 6:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Equipment will be provided to you on site: harness, descender, safety carabiners and climbing shoes!

The Fontenay Mountain Bike club “Les Phacochères” takes you every Sunday morning to mountain bike rides organized throughout the Ile de France and the rest of the country. An activity without competitive spirit, simply for fun.
