Val's en l'Air

Contemplate the peaks of the Jura during a paragliding flight! Take flight with Val’s en l’Air, in the upper Rhône valley. We guarantee you a gentle takeoff, without any feeling of dizziness: gentle sensations!

From our paragliding base located in Confort, in Ain, at the foot of the Grand Crêt d'Eau, we organize baptisms accessible to the general public, with the support of an instructor. First time paragliding or enthusiast wanting to discover the wonders of the Jura, at Val’s en l’Air, we promise a stunning activity for everyone.

Depending on the weather conditions and the takeoff location, a wide variety of landscape is available to you:

• From the crests of the Grand Crêt d’Eau and towards the north opens the steep panorama of the Jura. This allows you to see breathtaking landscapes and preserved nature, in the very heart of the National Nature Reserve of the Haute Chaîne du Jura.
• To the east, admire the Geneva basin opening before your eyes! On the sparkling water of Lake Geneva the silhouettes of the surrounding peaks are reflected. With this discovery of the Franco-Swiss border from the air, a change of scenery is assured.
• To the south of the take-off points, the upper Rhône valley flows, in a lock called the Écluse gorge, which cuts the border between the Jura and Haute-Savoie. Suspended in the air, you will enjoy a panoramic view of the charming Alpine landscapes.

The departure site for the activity is located 10 minutes from the town of Valserhône. If you arrive from Bourg-en-Bresse or Annecy, it will take about an hour's journey to reach our Val's en l'Air team. Finally, the Valserhône TGV station is served by regular connections with Geneva in around thirty minutes.
