From the Pointe de Chassiron to the Pointe de Gatseau, the sea offers you a panoramic view of the entire island and its wild coasts.
Whether for an individual or group lesson, we welcome experienced surfers as well as complete beginners and will form groups according to your level. Our team adapts to your desires and will be able to make young and old alike taste the pleasures of surfing in the Atlantic Ocean!
Having grown up in Oléron, our instructor knows all the secrets of the island and has perfectly tamed the Atlantic waves over the years. Proud of his experience and his past as a seasoned competitor, he will teach you all the techniques necessary to start or perfect your skiing while sharing curious anecdotes about the history of the place. Located in the heart of the Gironde Estuary and Pertuis Sea Marine Natural Park, our surf spot is full of secrets and is home to particularly breathtaking local biodiversity.
Ganach Surf School will meet you in the town of Dolus-d'Oléron, on the beaches in the southwest of the island. You will find us just a few kilometers to the west after the Oléron bridge: allow a good half-hour journey from Rochefort.

You will find us a few minutes south of downtown Dolus-d'Oléron.
From Rochefort: take the Oléron bridge via the D123 and the D26 towards Château-d'Oléron, for a journey of approximately 35 minutes.
From La Rochelle: allow an hour’s journey via Rochefort.
