L'écurie des Frasses

The Frasses stable welcomes you to its educational farm, and takes you skijoring in the Jura in winter!

You will be welcomed in a typical farm of the region, which you can visit and discover the animals during an educational outing, especially for children! On the farm, you will discover up to 200 animals, adairy farm, allama and alpaca farm, but also a horse farm strong>providing a pension for owners.

In winter, the center offers skijoring services. As an initiation and on snowy routes, it is an opportunity to discover with family, or with your friends, an original activity in contact with nature!

Enjoy a unique moment in the heart of the Jura, in the hamlet of Château desprès. You will enjoy a breathtaking view of the entire Jura massif, all year round by reservation in the center's educational and fun activities!

If you come to spend your holidays in the Jura and you want an original outing, L'écurie des Frasses invites you to discover skijoring!

The center will take you to Avoriaz in Haute Savoie to practice skijoring in the company of the center's horses. Every year, the instructors offer you new routes to follow in skijoring.

The instructors will be able to introduce you to this practice and take you on outings enjoying a breathtaking view of the entire Jura Chain. With horses, skis on your feet, you will enjoy sliding sensations unlike anything you have experienced until today. In complete tranquility, you will enjoy the grandiose landscapes, contact with the horse, the advice of the instructors and the relaxing sensations of this winter activity.

The center provides horses and driving equipment. However, you must come with your own ski equipment and outfit.

The Frasses stable welcomes you to its educational farm to discover the animal world with the children!

In summer, the farm welcomes the curious in the heart of a small clearing, where the center's professionals and some 200 animals present on site await you. Thanks to a marked route through the farm, you will discoverLlamas, Alpacas, Cows, Chickens, goats, ponies, horses… Ideal as part of a school outing, the visit includes activities and different themed workshops for children: cow milking, tastings of local products, pony rides, etc.

Visiting the farm is also possible in winter for groups, upon reservation. Children will have the opportunity to approach the animals and discover life and the work carried out on the farm.
Between emotions and discoveries, it’s an opportunity to spend a relaxing time while learning new things about the world around us.
