Kite-R invites you to a uniqueboarding adventure: the Stand Up Paddle!

The club is located in Basse-Normandie, more precisely in Merville-Franceville-Plage, in the department of Calvados. It is a few minutes from Caen and an hour from Havre. It is therefore an ideal site for practicing water sports.

SUP or Paddle Surfis a new sport that comes from Surfing. It consists of moving across a body of water on a surfboard (larger and more stable) with the help of a paddle.

This activity is perfect when the wind is not there, and is accessible to everyone: young and old, beginners and experienced sliders, etc. You will be supervised by one of the club's state-certified instructors.

Come and taste the pleasures of this unique sport, excellent for fitness with family, friends or colleagues! After a few hours of initiation you can set off to discover the Orne estuary. Different formulas will be offered to you for all ages and physical conditions.

Your board sports school Kite-R Evolution welcomes you to Merville Franceville in Normandy for entertaining and tailor-made sessions, with professionals in the field. middle!

Among our activity offerings, we suggest you try wingfoil, a practice of gliding between kitesurfing and windsurfing. It consists of standing on a large Stand Up Paddle board equipped with a foil, and using a wing at the end of arm to use the force of the wind and move forward. It is a still recent practice within sliding sports which is particularly sensational, because beyond even gliding on the water, it will give you the impression of flying over above the water.

It is a complete sport combining balance, strength and concentration which guarantees you strong emotions and an unrivaled feeling of freedom!
Equipped with a suit and a protective helmet provided by the school, a state-certified instructor will share with you his expertise to introduce you to or help you progress in wingfoil.

We therefore offer several three-hour group sessions open to all levels. You will start by learning the basics of this sport with the handling of the wing on the sand then on a Stand Up Padde board. This will be the time to test your balance on a stable support despite the force of the wind. When you have mastered this, you will then move on to learning how to foil by being towed across the water by a boat.

Step by step, you will have acquired technical and meticulous training, and you will then be able to combine the practice of wing and foiling! If your first Wingfoil attempts are difficult, keep your goals in mind and persevere... You will be all the more delighted to master the practice and enjoy flying on the water in the middle of 'a peaceful and sublime environment.

• Courses are taught between April and November with a maximum capacity of four people per session.
• Participation in the courses will only be possible by providing us with an insurance or civil liability certificate which covers the practice of kiting in a kite school under the status of “student”.
