The snowshoe is one of the oldest ways to progress on snow. It was used by the primitive peoples of Siberia, Mongolia and the American Indians.

ESF Val Thorens Raquettes offers you Whatever your level and your age, the snowshoe ride in Val Thorens will allow you to discover landscapes that take on grandiose dimensions through the magic of the snow ! Calm and purity put you in symbiosis with nature, sensations and emotions put you in harmony with your body: A wonderful experience to recharge your batteries during the holidays!

TheESF Val Thorensis equipped to accommodate disabled people and help them discover the joys of skiing in the high mountains.

The station has equipment adapted to all types of disabilities:

• Standing skit: uniski or biski
• Seated skiing: chair and Nordic sled
• Guidance: for the visually impaired or blind

In addition, the team of instructors is made up of specially trained personnel specialized in snow sports with disabled skiers. Introductory and advanced courses are available to give skiers the opportunity to make the most of the mountain, in a comfortable and secure climate.
