Valmeinier, resort of the Galibier Thabor ski area, has 150km of marked slopes between 2,600 and 1,500m and for all levels. A true paradise for all snow sports enthusiasts!

You will find more than 150 km of slopes, a total of 86 slopes suitable for all types of levels, from green slopes to black slopes. The ski area also offers unforgettable off-piste outings for the most experienced skiers or riders.

It is in this setting entirely dedicated to skiing and family holidays that the ESF Valmeinier offers you to come and discover, or rediscover, the following activities:

• Ski: Kindergarten, Children's collective, Adult collectives, Private lessons... With the ESF come and discover the pleasure from 3 years old! Pleasure can be learned!
• Snowboard: For the first sensations in snowboarding or supervised progression. With the ESF come and discover snowboarding “à la carte”.

When it comes to learning to ski, the ESF leaves no one behind! Age, level or disability will never be a barrier to learning to ski and enjoy skiing at ESF Valmeinier:

• Children's lessons : 3-4 year olds can have fun in safety at the piou piou club, while 4-12 year olds can enjoy all types of sliding lessons!
• Teenagers: for young people looking for thrills, lessons, freestyle and competition will delight your little daredevils
• Adults : private or group lessons divided by level to learn according to your profile! Trust the ESF instructors
• Handiski: take advantage of the uniski or the ski chair, as well as the experience of qualified instructors to enjoy skiing despite the disability!

The resort offers slopes suitable for all levels. ESF instructors will therefore allow you to take snowboard lessons according to your desires, from beginners to freestylers.

• Group snowboard lessons : groups are made up of 3 to 10 participants of the same level. The instructor will give you the keys to learning the best techniques in complete safety.
• New sensations: snowboard courses aimed at teenagers hungry for thrills
• Snowboard for children: Snowboard for all levels for ages 8 - 10
• Private snowboard lessons: benefit from special services, alone with the instructor.

In the heart of Savoie, the ESF of Valmeinier awaits you. The school has equipment adapted to disabled skiers, including uniski and ski chair.

ESF instructors are specially qualified to accompany skiers with disabilities on the slopes, and ensure conviviality and safety throughout their vacation.

handiski is practiced in the form of private lessons for 1 hour to 6 X 2 hours depending on the formula chosen. The instructors will be able to guide you little by little towards autonomy, or for a stroll on the slopes of the ski area.
