You will do this activity in the town of Hautefort, located 40 minutes from Brive-la-Gaillarde and less than two hours by car from Angoulême . You meet your pilot in front of the tourist office of this municipality. He will welcome you and then take you and your child to the place of take-off near the Château de Hautefort. All this takes place an hour and a half before sunrise.
You will then attend the briefing and the preparation of the hot air balloon, before being able to board the nacelle. The take-off will take place half an hour before sunset, with a rapid ascent at a speed of two and a half meters per second, until you have reached the height of 1000 to 1500 meters.
At this altitude, you will be able to see the sunrise before making a cold descent to a height of 150 m to rediscover the sunrise from a new angle. During this time, you will be able to enjoy the croissants on board the basket.
Thereafter, a classic flight will take place and then landing will take place on flat ground. The balloonist will present you local products that you will be able to taste with your child, before receiving your ascent certificate and returning to the place of departure aboard our 4×4 vehicle with the stars in their eyes.
