This prestige flight allows you to discover the first rays of the rising sun and fly over surprising panoramas for two hours. The expert and passionate balloonist who accompanies you will do everything possible to make the activity unique!
You will do this activity in the town of Hautefort, located 40 minutes from Brive-la-Gaillarde and less than two hours by car from Angoulême . You meet your balloon pilot in front of the tourist office of this town. He will welcome you and then take you and your child to the takeoff location near the Château de Hautefort. All this takes place an hour and a half before sunrise.
You will then attend the briefing and preparation of the hot air balloon, before being able to board the nacelle. The takeoff will take place half an hour before sunset, with a rapid ascent at a speed of two and a half meters per second, until you will have reached the height of 1000 to 1500 meters.
At this altitude, you will be able to see the sunrise before making a cold descent to a height of 150 m to rediscover the sunrise from a new angle. During this time, you will be able to enjoy croissants on board the basket.
Subsequently, a classic flight will take place then landing will take place on flat ground. The balloonist will present you with local products that you will be able to taste with your child, before receiving your ascension certificate and returning to the place of departure aboard our 4×4 vehicle with the stars in your eyes.
