We invite you to experience a sporting journey of caving to discover this science which will take you into the mysterious basements >. You will explore a cave dug out in the Pierre-Lys gorges dating back more than 450,000 years! It is a true masterpiece of naturewhich will offer you exceptional surprises. You will be amazed by this outing which will give you unique sensations and unforgettable memories.
You will venture into the majestic corridors of the Devil's Cave, one of the most attractive in the region. You will tour the cavern with your guide who will introduce you to the various practices of caving. You will start by descending into the cave via a zip line above the river. We have built this route so that you can discover the majority of the cavity without retracing your steps.
This underground adventure course will offer you the opportunity to familiarize yourself with many obstacles typical of the science that studies caves. Handrails, rappelling, ladder climbs, etc. you will not be bored during this exceptional outing.
To allow you to relive this experience, your guide will take photos of you for timeless memories. You can retrieve them via a link that we will provide you at the end of the activity.
All the equipment necessary for caving will be provided to you by us. The equipment offered meets standards and we review it very regularly to ensure your comfort and your safety. For your part, you will need to plan:
- Pants, a t-shirt and a long-sleeved sweatshirt.
- Closed shoes (sneakers or hiking shoes will do.).
- 1 liter of water and something to snack on.
- An elastic band if you have long hair.
- A cord to hold your glasses if you need themcarry.
The minimum age to participate in this activity is 10 years. You must not exceed 90 kg to move through these underground galleries.
We will meet you at the tourist office of Quillan 1 hour from Carcassonne, 1 hour 20 minutes from Perpignan and 1 hour 45 minutes from Toulouse.
